Los Altos, CA, United States (AHN) – A Russian billionaire has purchased what is reported to be the most expensive single family home in the United States. Yuri Milner is now owner of the massive $100 million, 25,500-square-foot ,Silicon Valley property.

Milner, who made his fortune in Facebook, Groupon and other technology investments, also heads Digital Sky Technologies.

Milner resides in Moscow with his wife and two children but apparently has no plans to move into the estate inspired by an 18th-century French chateaux. In addition to its five bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the property sits on nearly 17 acres of land and also a nearby 5,500-square-foot guest house.

It boasts a ballroom, a home theater, a wine cellar, a spa/gym, a tennis court, a car wash, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and formal gardens.

One of the home’s architects, William Hablinski, told the Wall Street Journal that “There wasn’t a real budget” when he designed the house for tycoon Fred Chan.

Milner invested $200 million into social networking phenomenon Facebook. His company is said to control about $5 billion worth of Facebook shares.

An out of town used car dealer couldn’t care less where you live or work, other than the fact that you are employed so you can make the car payment. If you buy a used car from them they probably won’t be too concerned if it breaks down on the way home. You are less likely to return to an out of town used car dealer to get repairs done or buy new tires when needed.

This is why you can take advantage of a local used car dealer. Buying local means you are helping keep your local businesses in business so you don’t have to go out of town to make your purchases. The local used car dealer knows this. Because he wants to maintain a good business presence he should be willing to give you a better deal on the car you buy from him. You certainly can remind him of this.

Probably you both have kids that attend the same school or play on the same sports team. So you are already buddies with him or his wife. You may attend the same church.
